Dawah Norway is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive your name, email, enquiry topic and message, plus any optional country, town and phone details you provide. For a Quran request, we also ask for your preferred language and delivery address in Norway. Technical information is processed to protect the form against misuse. Please share only the information needed for your enquiry.
How we use your information
We use the information to answer your enquiry and arrange the resources or support you request. Contact messages are sent to Dawah Norway by email through Resend. Cloudflare Turnstile protects the contact form against automated misuse. We do not sell your information or share it for third-party marketing.
Donations and payment data
When you donate using an available payment method, we receive limited transaction information from the provider — your name, the donated amount, and a reference ID. We do not receive or store card numbers or full payment details. For recurring donations via Vipps, we additionally receive an agreement ID required to manage the subscription. Donation records are retained for 5 years after the end of the financial year, as required by the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (§ 13). The payment provider’s privacy policy explains how it processes your payment data.
Cookies
The site stores your language choice and acknowledgement of the privacy notice in your browser. We do not use optional analytics cookies. Security services on the contact form and payment services you choose may use necessary browser storage. TikTok videos connect to TikTok only when you choose to play them; TikTok then presents its own privacy choices. You can clear stored site data through your browser settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@dawahnorway.com. If you believe we are processing your personal data unlawfully, you may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet — postkasse@datatilsynet.no, www.datatilsynet.no).
