For curious readers
What is the Quran?
The Holy Quran is the final revelation of God to humanity, revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ over 23 years. It is a complete guide for life — addressing faith, morality, worship, and the purpose of existence.
The Quran is the literal word of God (Allah), preserved in its original Arabic text for over 1,400 years without any change. It was revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). The Quran is the foundation of Islamic faith and covers every dimension of human life — from personal conduct and family life to ethics, spirituality, and the relationship between humanity and its Creator.
ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of God.”
Al-Baqarah 2:2
Why Read the Quran?
Direct Word of God
Unlike any other religious text, the Quran claims to be the direct, literal speech of God — unchanged since its revelation. For over 1,400 years, it has been memorized word-for-word by millions.
Guidance for Life
The Quran addresses the deepest questions of human existence: Who created us? Why are we here? What happens after death? It provides clear, practical guidance for every aspect of life.
Literary Miracle
The Quran challenged the greatest poets and linguists of Arabia — and continues to challenge the world — to produce even one chapter like it. Its inimitable style remains unmatched 14 centuries later.
Universal Message
The Quran is not for a specific people, place, or time. Its message is for all of humanity — addressing people of every background with wisdom and mercy.
